Guest kgrant
I have swapped a 280 turbo engine into a 240 z body. I have also upgraded to a 300 turbo ECU, maf and timing disk. The engine will rev normally if there is no boost. However, if the engine is under any boost the engine will not rev over 4000 rpm. It is always at 4000 rpm. I have checked the timing, wiring, fuel pressure and most anything that I can think of. I do not believe that there are any sensors active during boost that would cause a change or limit the engines ability to rev up. Any suggestions would be appreciated. nismopick
Check your a/f ratio. Are you sure you wired the Z31T ecu correctly?
