capt_furious
I would LOVE to run these wheels. ...but, they need knockoffs. Image makes a very similar wheel with lug holes and a center cap with a fake knockoff, but fake knockoffs are...well, kinda dumb, almost poser. Anyone know if knockoff adaptors were ever made in 4 x 4.5?
Shuyun
The low rider mag says steel lug nuts are recommended by knock off adaptor manufactures. See figure 14. http://www.lowridermagazine.com/tech/knock_it_off/index.html http://www.licorvette.com/pdfcatalogfiles/KOwheel.PDF Called an asked about knock off adaptors said they had a 6in flange on a 42 hub that was undrilled and would take a 4 by 4.5 lug pattern for $150 us each so 600 and a good machine shop. http://www.britishwirewheel.com/index.htm
capt_furious
*low whistle* Yeah, considering the cost of adapters and the fact that BRM GT-40 wheels are $478 EACH, I don't think I'll be able to afford it anytime soon. Didn't notice Image's pricing until after I posted. Too bad BRM is out of business. They made some killer wheels. ...which leads to my next question, anyone know of a wheel that looks very similar in 16 x 8 and 4 x 114.3? There are plenty of 6-spoke wheels out there, but none like this.

Dudeboy
You may want to take a look at a Cobra website, like Factory Five or Cobra Country. Is it the pin drive wheels you shooting for ? or getting those wheels with knockoffs? or both? http://www.vintagewheelsus.com/
capt_furious
I'm looking for BRM GT40 6-spoke clones that won't require selling a kidney. After doing some Googling, I've decided knockoffs / hub screw wheels aren't such a good idea on a daily driver. Too much chance of having them stolen or come loose. Spinners look neat on the right car...they may look ok on the Z, but a hub nut or...sadly, a fake hub nut would probably be a better choice.
