lowdown
Well as i'm restoring my 72 I find out that my rust free Z has some bondo held together by screen material on the lower rear rocker sections. Who does everyone suggest to get new ones from, I could make some from scratch, but i'm sure someone has them pretty cheap since its a common rust area. lowdown
Tabco looks good, wish the pics were bigger to tell if thats exactly what I need. Is there a web site for the zedd findings?
dk240z
Lowdown I've got some complete rockers off of a 73 parts car I cut up a couple years ago. Same color as your Z too. These are complete in the sense that I cut them with the front pillar back to th rear wheel well. This includes the inner beam also. Don't know if you want to perform that kind of radical surgery, but if you didn't mind drilling out spot welds, the fit would probably be better than Tabco. Let me know if you ever up this way. I've got the roof off the car too. DK

lowdown
I just tried to order them from Tabco and they say the price are 40 bucks each now, even though the web site says 25 bucks. Anyone know of where to still get them for 25? Thanks Phil
AK-Z
nope. Everybody else, buys from tabco and pricemarks them up. Tabco, is probably the cheapest you're going to get, unless someone sells you them privately.
