BurnoutZ
I have looked through various pictures and I think that a Z would look better without the window trim. Is this an easy and wise move? How would you do this? As you see there are other people that feel the same way I do. Questions? Comments?
inlawZ
you know what? my buddy said he saw someone that took it off, hich i believe it just snaps on/off. and there is a little lip where it goes on. anyway, he saw someone that took it off and cut the lip thing off and he said it was nice
inlawZ
oh, correct me if im wrong, but i believe that it does serve a purpose, it helps guid the water away from the door and windows when it rains. i could be wrong but it looks like it would

rbpowered280z
ya, its called a drip rail, logically, i keeps rain from getting in the car when you are getting in and out, and no, its not easy, yes, there are several little clips, but of course, the car was not designed to last more than 5 years. good luck, it was a BIATCH to take off...................im shaving mine! peace
LS1 240Z
the chrome part just pops off. then you would have to grind and body work the two seams. or you could just paint the drip rail body color..
BurnoutZ
the chrome part just pops off. then you would have to grind and body work the two seams. or you could just paint the drip rail body color.. Do you mean like pop it off and put bondo as filler and sand it off? I was thinking more of taking a circular saw and cutting the trim right to the body and then welding it and sanding it.
