Challenger Posted November 19, 2007 Share Posted November 19, 2007 Just wondering if the 280z tailights are the same on a 2+2 and a coupe. First ones the coupes. Im guessing the tailights are the same but the tailight panels are different? Im needing new chrome bezels for the taillights and dont have a coupe bezel or taillight to compare. rturbo 930 Posted November 19, 2007 Share Posted November 19, 2007 on the inside of the cutout, and measuring from the back, the bottom section is almost 10" exactly. on the top section, its ~9 7/8" at the widest part, and ~9 3/8" at the narrowest part. hope that helps. Challenger Posted November 19, 2007 Author Share Posted November 19, 2007 Thanks, now I need to get a bezel. Any ideas on how to repaint those with the stock finish. One of mine was in pretty good condition and it shined up with steel wool but the other ones paint is coming off. What kind of paint or coating was on it?
