Guest racertay
i know this isnt a 240sx forum but i have a question about swapping an ls1 onto my 1992 nissan 240sx. is it a better swap than the popular sr20det swap? will it give me better performance along with reasonable handling? and also where can i get this swap done for me? Dudeboy
There is some great information here on Hybridz that can steer you in the right direction, but for a 240sx swap there are a couple of threads on LS1tech.com in the Conversions and Hybrid forum with complete swaps with details for drag racing or drifting. Savage42
There are a few reasons I'd go with the LS1....more torque from idle to redline, ease of finding parts and it sounds bad ass. Enough said!
SSflyer
There was an LS1 240SX at the tuners shop when I had my car in for some work, so it can be done.
100
Hybridz has tons of great info on the ls1, and a lot of the info can be used on the s13/s14 chassis. You can also check out http://www.silviaV8.com. It's a small forum I run, but lot's of knowledgeable guys on the board.
