Gareth
I've got some REALLY good info for you LS guys... Here are some details about the upcoming "Blue Devil" LS9 engine. It has 6,2 liters of displacement, and a twin-screw supercharger with two small intercoolers in the intake manifold. More info here: http://www.rs6.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13839 http://jalopnik.com/cars/detroit-auto-show/this-is-the-2009-corvette-zr1-ls9-engine-and-yes-were-probably-in-serious-trouble-326717.php This is going to be one serious motor... badjuju
maybe they'll debut this at $15k for a crate, and bring the ls7 down to $7k? Anyone? No? piss off, i'm going back to the l6 forum... dream crushers.
Pete84
When Car and Driver went to VIR to do their fast testing, the GT500 suffered in the heat after just a few laps, but none of the turbocharged cars were affected likewise. Could the liquid heat-exchanger intercooler thing be an issue on this 'Vette or do you think GM has fixed that?
BobbyZ
group buy??? lol
AKWIKZ
Looking at those pics it almost looks as though the intercoolers are contained in their own box. What are the chances that the entire box might be flooded with water that circulates through it's own exchanger? Just a thought.
