Guest Anonymous
What did you have to do to make everything fit?
jt1
Britt, it's a Design Products Racing kit that adapts a 12.2x1.25 rotor and the Superlite caliper to the Z spindle. The rotor and caliper are short track stock car stuff made by Wilwood. The old rotors were getting pretty thin and had heat cracked badly, so I replaced them for an upcoming track day at VIR. I'm pumped about getting close to another track day, been getting DT's. John
Guest Thurem
Where did you get the rotor hats, and how much were they. Looks Really sweet. Thure
GAZRNR
John, Sweet set up! Have you had a chance to try out the stopping power and brake balance on yout car yet? Can you tell me how you found Design Products Racing? Do they have a web site or phone numer I can call to get some more information on the setup and pricing? Thanks, Rusty
katman
DP Racing, or Design Products Racing, or Don Oldenberg and his wife: 714-892-1513 last I tried. Huntington Beach CA. Don used to work for Tilton I believe and still makes a lot of the old Z car stuff for Nissan Comp. Camber plates, oil pans, etc.
jt1
What katman said. I will add an email of dpracing@concentric.net. I've also got DP's rear disc kit. A wilwood proportioning valve provide's balance. Dynalite single calipers on the rear and that's a lot of piston area compared to the front, the porp valve is almost maxed out reducing pressure to the rear. LOTS of stopping power, it's almost impossible to get any brake fade with street tires at an OT event. PF pads, 01 up front and 97 rear. Not sure about pricing. The previous owner of my car bought the brakes. John
