jasper
I recently bought JTR's conversion manual, and their Chevy TPI/TBI manual. WOW, what great info and pictures. I just got John's "show me, tell me" for a comparison. This was so I could make an educated decision on which kit to purchase. It showed me how to waste $25.00. His info was almost useless, and no photos to compare kits. Has anyone bought his kit with a complete Manual. With info at hand, JTR gets my order hands down! I could use a little input,........Thanks.Tommy
m1noel
Tommy, JTR's manuals are a must, even if you use John's kit. It really depends on the engine you are swapping. I used John's for my LS conversion-its the only kit available-and while the manual isn't the easiest to follow, the parts are top notch. DavyZ
I have an '87 IROC 350 TPI/ 700R4...The swap is going in a 77 280 I found... For the SBC I would go JTR all the way. John's Cars is better for the LSx motors. You may still need this site on occasion for help during the swap. The information is there, just remember to search Davy
rwwisnesky
If you go to "sticky's" link for his documentation on the JCI conversion, everything you need to know is there. I did a LS_1 with JCI and is kit is about a perfect as it gets. It is clearly a class act. I did use JTR(sanderson headers), radiatior and induction tubes. JCI also has an elegand drive shaft. Good luck
