Tachometer Question

Recommended Posts

I sent my tach to John's Cars for calibration. Today when I hooked it up it did not work. I have a single wire from the LS_1 computer that I thought went into the red/black post (see picture). The bad news is I have a dash cover that prevents me from pulling the tach from the front, so I just pulled the dash again. Hope its the last time.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Ron,

As long as its hooked up to the correct wire, it should work. The pic looks right, just don't know for sure about the PCM to tach splice. I'd call John's and see what they say. I did have to send mine back once, then Perfect! Luckily I didn't put my dash cover on til it was working. I liked the looks of your exhaust too. I bet it sounds great. I hope the weather in Longmont is better than here, too nasty to get the Z out of the garage.

Mike
