B00STDZ
Aww mannn...Wonder how much the upgrade will cost? Haha Probably alot. The smallest GTX-R wheel is for a GT42. A little big for my setup. But yes I would be interested to see if they have the gtx35r
TimZ
Haha Probably alot. I made the post referring to TimZ because he is using a gt42. But yes I would be interested to see if they have the gtx35r Quick update - I checked with ATP turbo last week, and these are on sale now. However, here was their response when I asked what was needed to upgrade my GT4294R: Hi Tim, What is required is either a new CHRA and compressor housing (available now) Or in the future, you can swap out your compressor wheel for the GTX wheel and matching comp housing. No available in this mode yet. ...so for now the only thing I'd get to keep would be the turbine housing, and it's not clear, but it sounds like in the future I might only have to change the compressor wheel and the compressor housing. Not sure how this classifies as "interchangeable"...

Not sure how this classifies as "interchangeable"... I received my GTX35R today. Unfortunately I won't be able to see the results for about 6 weeks when I reinstall the engine (minor fixes and mods). I expect to see a substantial increase in performance over my GT35R. Slightly quicker spool and a substantial increase in flow in the 18-24 psi range. Since I'm a Garrett dealer, I can give great GTX35R prices to Z owners with or without the turbine HSG. PM me if interested. BTW way TimZ, Garrett does not sell GTX wheels separately. You'd have to buy the GTX turbo and use your existing turbine housing.
