JSM
When I got my car it came with poorly tuned SK 45's. I sold them on ebay and bought a TEC3 because I want a decent system for FI. I'm tight on money and have been saving for more parts, but in the mean time I have to get this car running. I've done nothing to until about 3 weeks ago and if I wait until I have the money I'll be dead. I got her fired up yesterday and she seemed to run pretty good. The motor is a temporary setup until more funds come in. Anyway, the car came with a fuel regulator up against the firewall and was right there so I ran it directly to the carbs. I used some thick piano wire bolted to the firewall and tiewrapped the hose to it. I only tied one end to allow for flexing of the motor. I'd like to get a little thicker wire then whats there. I was glad I found this thread were Jon M. Posted in: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=119492&highlight=return+line I had run a return line down the same path with a loop near the dist. and back against the firewall. Unfortuneately the return was clogged or kinked and nothing ever came out of it. I removed it tonight. Well after all that here it is:
TrumpetRhapsody
Looks effective. I may have to try the same thing on my carbs! And I now know I'll need to find a fuel regulator...
