Posey55
dont mean to sound dumb but i kno that the older heads used external oil spray bar(im pretty sure thats what its called) to lubricate the camshaft and the later models had the cams internally lubricated is there any problems ill face when instaling an E88 head on an F54 block also i plan on installing a new cam before i put it all together and form what ive read most aftermarket cams come internally lubricated so will this increase my woes or not? all help will be greatly appreciated
JMortensen
No problem and you can run both oiling systems simultaneously.
Posey55
oo so the oil galleries and holes r in the same places and i just leave the spray bar be?
JMortensen
Yes, there are two holes in the block that feed the cam towers, the spray bar is also fed off of the cam towers, so there is no modification necessary. In the future please spell out words and try to use correct punctuation.
