I am at the National Short Track Championships in Milwaukee this week doing foot casting so I do not have full time access to the internet. I will be back at the shop on Monday an be able to answer more ?'z but generally covering something in carbon is much easier than fabrication of a new item like the skate boots. Each pair is made to each customers feet. There are many types and structures (weaves) of carbon fiber. I repaired my floor pans in my 280ZX a few weeks ago with a structural carbon weave that is not great to look at but is ROCK solid.
