Guest asleepz
Had my pressure plate back off the flywheel and fly apart about a year ago from getting it installed at a shaddy shop. So now I'm back and got money and I have a quick question Is the fulcrum bolt supposed to have a lock washer on the back side of it? Just making sure because it seemed a little weird... Guest asleepz
Yeah in the Nissan V6 forum, wasn't getting any responses and I finally realized it didn't have much to do with the actual engine. My bad.
SATAN
Not a lock washer. It is a spring clip that holds the fork to the ball. If it is not there, your fork will flop all over the place.
Guest asleepz
Oh, misunderstanding... I know that. Where the fulcrum bolt screws into the tranny is there a washer of any sort or just screw it in.

Yes there is a washer. My buddy has his 88 turbo tranny sitting on his garage floor. I looked at it and there was a lock washer under the fulcrum bolt. Roughly 3/32" thick. Guest asleepz
gotcha! Added and washer and mounted the tranny and driveshaft today. Everything went really well. I can't wait to get it rolling this weekend.
