280zwitha383
I assume they have some cooling benefits?? What do you do with them? I'm looking at this particual manifold: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=010&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=200207479526&rd=1 Thanks
sweetride2go
i think i had that same manifold on my 327 Z... its a nice piece, but the water outlets i believe are just for convience... it may hav some cooling benefit, but i wasnt aware of it... i pluged the rear two off if i remember right, the front passanger side was a barbed fitting for the water heater, and the front drivers side was for my water temp/fan... id say the only downside to that manifold (cosmeticly speaking) is all the junk that settles and/or stains in the valley... cheers ryan
blueovalz
I'm using the PP Ford intake with passages in back as well. The cooling benefits are debatable, but what I find advantageous is the ability to remove air from the back of the block through one of the plug holes in the rear passage.
