Guest RagedApe Posted April 7, 2008 Share Posted April 7, 2008 I did an auto-->manual swap and ran into problem. The master cylinder's rod from autozone is short. Is there a site that has the long one or is there a way to make it work? I've tried other auto stores and it will take at least a week not to mention it might be a wrong length again. m1noel Posted April 7, 2008 Share Posted April 7, 2008 I had that problem with the rod for the Chev master cyl. I just cut the head off a bolt the right thread, welded it on to the short rod to extend it, and ground the weld down. Worked great until I changed masters and the tilton had a longer rod.
