John Scott Posted February 27, 2001 Share Posted February 27, 2001 Mike, In another post you mentioned your 700 shifting too soon. Did you get your TV cable intalled and adjusted correctly? If the tension isn't right you'll get early soft shifts. I used to get about 5500 from 1-2, about 5000 2-3. Of course you can hold these as high as you want. Improper TV and lock up can kill the 700. Sure takes some getting used to going from 4 speed manual to auto but I think I will like it. Had some of the install done at the local speed show as I dint have the room, space to do all work. Ouch exspensive, next time I will find the facilities or else. Anyway will go to the strip soon. Will let you know how she does.
