A/C recharge?

Recommended Posts

First of all putting an unknown amount of refrigerate in your car is pointless. You don't know how much is still in there right now. R134a systems are very sensitive to the amount of freon that you have in it...extra is not a good thing. You really need to pull a vacuum on the system first and see if it can hold a vacuum. IF it does then you know you don't have a leak. IF it can't you obviously have a leak and it's not going to matter if you fill the system because it's all going to leak out and usually it's pretty fast.

You should really have it diagnosed/filled by a professional.
