Careless
It's an official Nissan/Datsun Technicians Service Information Manual. Have any of you seen this before? Just curious if it's of any use, I can scan some pages relevant to what information you need... ... as soon as I get a scanner.
geezer
This one was specifically for the Canadian dealerships by the looks of it. Yeah, I'm interested in scans. Sent you a PM.
Careless
Karen, who had given me the car for free, was married to a datsun service manager at the time when she acquired the car. He passed away, and thus I got the car out of an email I had sent to her saying she should give it to good hands. This book has all sorts of stuff that a prep-team wouldn't need to know. The difference between gear-driven and trochoidal oil pumps? the oil gallery routing for nearly all the datsun L engines of the time? the specifications for the starter and alternator units, as well as general and applied mathematic formulas. I think this book is a gem. And I want to keep it, but I'd like to share the information. I just don't wanna let it go just yet. Perhaps I'll toss my bro 20 bucks to scan it. Raff. Careless
Interesting. This book is a lot more indepth than any other book I've read on the subject of engines and technical information about all things datsun. AND, there is a section about rotary engines too. LOL. eec564
I'd be interested in giving it a good read. How long is it? 50 pages? 200 pages? Perhaps Xenon might be willing to host a nice high quality PDF on one of his usefullness-filled websites.
Careless
between 150 - 250 pages. The pages are split between 4 sections and they seem to recount through each section. Looks like all the pages are there for the sections that are there. I'll see if my bro can scan it sometime soon. Raff
