wheelman
As the thread subject says, what do you guys think about platinum plugs? Give some experiences in NA and Turbo/Supercharged engines. I ask because I'm putting together a 1990 Talon TSi and want to know what peoples experiences have been running platinum plugs in turbo engines specifically, but in general also. averynisbet
Plugs are very specific to the engine I would run whatever the DSM guys were running it that. But for the L series the NGK copper plugs seem to be best. Some people only goto a colder number plug when turboed. -Avery
Careless
coincidentally, a lot of the Talon guys run the same plugs as the L28 Z guys. LOL. that's what the parts guy said when I ordered them. "I sold my last 4 yesterday to someone with a turbo talon!"

AK-Z
In short platinum sucks. Platinum is a poor conductor of electricity, but it durability is high.
