78datsunz
bought a polyurethane bushing set for a 78 280z. the rear control arm bushings do not fit, in the pic shown the bushing will fit if i cut or press out the 1/8" sleeve shown inside the spindle hole, however do i need the sleeve or are the bushings designed not to use them because they are tougher??????? any help thanks, keith
jtmny1999
You have to press out the metal bushing......
78datsunz
ok but doo i need to replace the sleeve or do i just install the new polyurethane bushings without it??? b/c the bushings themselves will only fit inside the sindle hole if the original metal sleeve is pressed out
