SHADY280 Posted June 29, 2008 Share Posted June 29, 2008 i dd my 79 n/a, major mods done to it, but stock ecu and injectors. getting 23 ish mpg and not just granny driving it. i havent a clue what my a/f ratio is, but its off and i need a wide band, but the butt tells me its quick. if i got megasquirt prolly would be much better. mind you i need 94 octane. Gas mileage averages only 19-20 in the city & 24 highway, but it does have a lot of miles on it (250,000+) with all original electronics & injectors. Although my A/C blows cold, it can heat up really quick on long trips at speed here in the hot Southwest or in stop & go traffic, so I suffer it out for now. I really need to upgrade the entire cooling system...other than that, I've got no complaints. I love the way it rides & handles with Tokico suspension & polyurethane bushings!
