z-ya
What is a MLS head gasket? A metal one? Why not just use an Nissan OEM one?
FuNkY
Yes it is a Metal Head Gasket,my engine is turbo converted. so it's due to compression, and will have to withstand the pressure.

How much boost do you plan on running? The stock one can easily handle 15psi without detonation. Do a little searching and read up about why a stock gasket can save your engine. boardkid280z
MLS stands for Multi-Layer(ed)-Steel gasket, I believe. Cometic makes some, I don't know if they have em for L28s. Yea, I agree with z-ya, unless your car is all setup and running high boost, and you know it's not gonna blow up, don't run a metal head gasket. If you run a regular head gasket and something goes wrong, then the head gasket will blow instead of your piston or block.
