Guest 77280ZEV Posted August 13, 2008 Share Posted August 13, 2008 Will a 240Z or 260Z transmission fit nicely into 77 280Z Automatic. Doesn't matter if it fits to the engine, just need to know whether it will be in the right place for shaft and shifter hole. I got a 240Z transmission the guy says. and I was talking to another guy and he said it wont align right with the shifter hole or shaft. MJLamberson Posted August 13, 2008 Share Posted August 13, 2008 You will have to open up the shifter hole a little bit, its really thin metal so its easy, I used a hack saw.
