Guest super280z Posted December 18, 2001 Share Posted December 18, 2001 dont worry this pertains somewhere... a buddy of mine came over to the house the other day toting an ghetto import mag. i think it was super street or something of the sort. blah blah, i mocked him increacingly for buying it just for the fast and furious calender, but after i eventually looked through the paged to get a laugh i found that there was an entire tech article for the 4.11 r-200 in the 240 sx turbo. totally awesome. apparently an aftermarket exists for this now and you can buy a good posi for less that 400 bucks. hoorah for nissan! So all I need to assemble is the $400 posi, the bolt spacer bushings (assuming the 240SX gearset uses 12mm bolts), and the $37.50 3.36 R-200 punkin I got at the junkyard - pulled from a low-mileage '79 280ZX. then my Hybrid Z is set up for less than $500! THe Jan '02 covers are out now I looked in Super Street, Sport Compact Car, and others but didn't see a 240SX differential article in them.
