Iowa280zx
Ok I am using a completely stock turbo block, a 5 speed tranny from a 83 280zx 2+2 n/a and my stock flywheel from the n/a. Everything is in the car and hooked up and when i try to start the car my starter will kick out and spin but barely catch the flywheel and just grind on the edge. I'm using the starter from my 83 n/a and i didn't think there was any real difference between the turbo on and it. Anybody have a clue whats going on here? Iowa280zx
Well after poking around i'm pretty sure i figured out what it was. The turbo motor was an auto setup and i removed the flexplate off the block but there still seems to be a shiny spacer thats sitting between the crank and my flywheel and that wasn't the case with my n/a 5 speed setup. am i right here?
