datsun40146 Posted September 25, 2008 Share Posted September 25, 2008 I was looking at all the s30 shells I had laying around the other day and I got to thinking. The only thing that makes the 2+2 un-pleasing to my eye is the roof line and those quarter windows. Now you cannot change the roof line however I don't see why it would be all that hard to graft a coupe window frame into a 2+2 and do away with those windows. You would have a larger blind spot b/c the roof is longer in a 2+2 but I would pay that price for the chance that it might look better. Photoshop may come I handy here guys. Maybe I’m thinking about this the wrong way. It’s possible to graft new roofs on, maybe one could graft a coupe roof onto a 2+2? I know many of you guys would ask why when there are so many clean coupes out there. To which I have two reasons. 1. Maybe I want the looks of the coupe with a partially functionally back seat lol. 2. I am just curious if it can be done and look right.
