Challenger Posted September 26, 2008 Share Posted September 26, 2008 If you were to weld bungs on a few inches away from the flange/port would there be any significant problems, or would it be better for atomization? I have read about tony D's 4barrel, triple carbs, long runners, short runners, etc. I will stab at this and say close and angled toward the intake valve. So why are you curious? Challenger Posted September 26, 2008 Author Share Posted September 26, 2008 Well I was just curious on both... thought direct injection was cool and saw a post by 510six with a manifold with the injectors placed higher up on the runners. Also last week I had began another custom manifold and in order to use bigger runners Id have to remove the stock injector mount and just mill/grind the flange flat. In the end just wondering...
