Guest 400 ci 280z Posted February 18, 2002 Share Posted February 18, 2002 i am wanting to use the t-56 with my 69 pontiac 400. what do i need to do to get this to fit? is there an adapter i can get or do i need to make on? or can i just drill the t-56 bolt pattern onto a pontiac bellhousing? fl327 Posted February 19, 2002 Share Posted February 19, 2002 bop lakewood scattershield with that tremec t56 retro, should work, those bellhousings are made extra big so they will work with big or small block with a million bolt holes. Sallee Chevrolet sells a retro T56 and the article states that Sallee will drill the adaptor plate to fit any GM bellhousing.
