vspec
Can i use SVO injectors on my 280zxt with my stock injector connectors?
nismopick
Yes. You will also need to adjust the AFM to keep the motor from fouling out.
vspec
Since these are the highest injectors i can use with the stock ecu, does that mean that the fuel curve will compensate and use the extra fuel? or do i need an safc?

Hey- Do you have a fuel/air ratio gauge on your car ? If not, they are not very expensive to insall and the O2 sensor will tell you right where you are all the time in the fuel curve. I would recommend one with a turbo set up for sure.

That doesn't really make sense. The stock ECU cannot handle larger sized fuel injectors, so you adjust the AFM to "trick" it. or do i need an safc? No.
Administrators BRAAP Posted October 20, 2008 Administrators Share Posted October 20, 2008 In using a different injector with the stock EFI, (I’m assuming the flow rate is something different than stock), how are you handling the fuel delivery change above the point during WOT when the AFM is maxed out/fully open at approx 4500 RPM and above! The AFM only is only used by the ECU below 4500 RPM during WOT.
