Mike Rowe
On my L28 motor there is a fitting off the thermostat housing that I thought was the temp sensor for the water temp gauge at first but it is not. It has 2 plastic tubes coming off it. See photo - one plastic tube has been broken off. Does anyone know what it is?
Nismopowered
Its a thermal vaccuum switching valve. It should have 2 vaccuums lines hooked to it. If you have the underhood vaccuum label you might be able to see what it controls.
