  5. Most courts will let you pay the following monday if it falls on a weekend.
  6. I eould make sure the leak is not higher. Check the valve cover gasket. I have seen the entire bottom of a car covered with oil from the valve cover leaking. And you wont always see it leaking all over.
  7. I would say lap them. You are matching the new valve to the seat so they seal.
  8. why even put the doors together at all? I would just change the glass and take it that way.
  9. shih tzu, my daughter has one. hypoalergenic, no shedding really. gets about 14-16lbs. They have hair really, its not fur like a normal dog.
  10. A plate light? You didnt say front or rear? If its the front then I agree with the ambient temp sensor.
  11. compression wont tell you anything in this case. If he was quick enough then just change the pan and filter and see what happens. If it make noise what have you lost, oil and a filter.
  12. I finally put mine in. They fit ok, they do rub on the door a little. I also noticed if I were to cut the inner knob off it would provide more room to go back. All I did was enlargen the factory mounting holes and brace them with a piece of steel with a hole in the middle(picture a really thick washer). I just might cut the inner knobs off this weekend.
  13. Cool! Another worthless sr/ka debate! Thought I got rid of this crap when I sold my Sentra! Displacement has no equal. You increase the effective displacement with boost. As far as wether the ka/sr is better, they are built for differnt things. The ka was built for more torque for a heavier car. The sr is built for top end. Sorry but the sr20det block will hold more powere stock than the ka, proven so many times. Dont you think there is a reason Nissan doesnt use the ka for racing? Yes the ka is a good motor but an sr will out do it. sr's have run over 700hp years ago with jun. What makes me laugh is the quest for power. How many people here really need over 250? And yes I have tuned ka's, Had the first Fmax kit for a true DET with over 300hp as a daily driver. Well ill just stick to a 2.8l with the tripples and exhaust, runs good and sounds great. And before I get flamed, I dont care! I was turboing sr's over 10 years ago before some of were even driving!
  14. Ya im keeping it. But dont worry shes well oiled, she leaked plenty! But really I also wax rims before I store them, keeps them in great shape!
  15. But my friend bought it new in 72, its in both of our names. While its not stock, I would like to have the option of going stock. I have a crawl space I can throw it in so it wont be in the way. I'll just keep it just in case!
  16. You guys were it does match. Never even saw that the plate the engine number! So I guess I will keep it, just in case! Thanks
  17. So I have the stock l24 block in my garage. Are they tagged by vin to the car? Basically is there any value in keeping it with the car or will any 72 240 block be the same and no one will notice? Just doing some cleaning and have some Z stuff like the block and carbs that im not sure if its worth keeping. Thanks
  18. You wont have any probloms being stabil as long as the trailer is loaded properly. Brakes on that van are better than alot of 1/2 ton trucks!
  19. Can you please post me exactly what code they pulled. How many miles and any recent work done to car. What other issues besides the MPG? Or better yet email it to me as I cant read posts at work. Jeremy
  20. Its a thermal vaccuum switching valve. It should have 2 vaccuums lines hooked to it. If you have the underhood vaccuum label you might be able to see what it controls.
  21. Also try to grab the shaft as close as you can to the top. If you gouge the shaft up high its very doubtful it will ever get near the seal.
  22. I thought it was bump! But anyways no clue. White is coolant, something under vacuum? When decel vacuum is high. Maybee sucking it in somewhere?
  23. So after you removed them that was whats left? Did you have to weld in any panels to cover holes? Would make a nice sub enclosure!
  24. If you really want it to look newer, buy a newer bike! The E came out in 93 so its never going to look like the new ones. Or be fast and light like the new ones. Keep in mind I own! But for comfort, its bada@@! Check out the forums and look thru members rides to see what some have done.
