Guest Anonymous
I have a 72' 240Z and a 79' 280ZX. Can I just swap out the whole rear-end out of the 79' and install it into the 72'? If not, what all modifications will I need to perform in order to do the swap, and what additional parts will I need? Thanks yall, I'm new to the Z family. Mike C
You can use the diff, but not the rest of the parts. Even if you do use the center section, you will need a mustache bar from a 280 with r200. It is possible to use some of the brake parts if you fab mounts. Search on r200 and rear disc swaps and see what's been discussed before.
