z240z
Does anyone have any info on stroker engines using a 280 block, offsetground 280 crank with 240z 9mm rods and cast pistons. they come out at approx 3.0, use a stock nissan piston (not 280z) and have a 0 deck height. i saw one at an autox that seemed ran fantastic. thanks for any and all responses. z240z
zguitar71
Search! Search "stroker" or "3.1" or "3.0" ect... and you will find more than you can read in one day. btw the crank is from a diesel Maxima (search that too).
Xnke
No, the crank he is referring to is a stock 280 crank reground. With a stock LD28 crank, you don't need to regrind the 280 crank, and it bolts up. You can find lots of information on it here, by using the search function. MUCH MORE COST EFFECTIVE. OR you can use a reground LD28 crank AND BLOCK and L24E rods, for nearly 3.4L displacement. But, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ are involved...serious cash here.
