Shipping Motor: Thoughts on how I did this???

I would agree that with a few simple straps, that should be fine.

It looks a lot better than how I transported the turbo motor i picked up....imagine one of those standing up as it would in the engine compartment, sitting on slick plywood, only held in place with a single strap...not fun

I have to fully wrap it in wood per the shipping company. The weight sits at 333Lbs the weigh it sits. I estimated 360 w/ the additional wood.

The first quote I got using ESTES was 447.90 + 16.5 % fuel surcharge!

I called Diversified Transportaion Services who gets better deals for people and it came in at $350.00! It even ends up using the same company I got the first quote from. This info was passed on to me from a Hybridz member.

The saving is substantial. www.dtsone.com
