Guest Roghoul
Im going to do a VG30DETT swap into my Z31 and I was wondering what kind of custom work would I have to do to make it work.
EMWHYR0HEN
It never hurts to do a little research.
evildky
I prefer the vg30et, the de require 90% more effort, drama and cost to get an extra 10% of result
Guest Roghoul
I've been doing some research but all I can find is that I would have to do some custom piping

Bitchin man thanks, I should be able to do the custom work for it, I work at a metal shop. Now can you guys tell me anything good about OsukaJDM motors, are the worth getting or should I find somewhere else to buy?
nismopu
what a waste of time. I would swap a vq in over a vg30dett or yeah even stick with the vg30et. I loved driving my friends z32tt it had over 450hp but it was always breaking. maybe the less cramped engine bay of the z31 will help with the heat but I doubt much. I wish they didn't break all the time and it wasn't ever life threatening. Its just the fact that you had to always be under the hood with the damn things. I heard Osaka was good but I would still support your local importer if they have decent feed back from others. peace.

I would support my local importer if there was one in utah, as for the vq drop I would if I had that kind of money, but Im going to go with the vg30dett since I can get my hands one of those easier.
