Challenger Posted December 3, 2008 Share Posted December 3, 2008 Well I was going to try and find some in the junkyards but from what I read some are welded on, some bolted on with 4 bolts. Comrade_Charlie Posted December 3, 2008 Author Share Posted December 3, 2008 I know where 1 is, Ive been reading about them and yea some are welded on, hope thats not the case with the one im going to look at. to take the hub off I just need to unbolt the halfshaft, I dont have to remove the stub axle do I(I think I would need an impact wrench for that)? ... Challenger Posted December 3, 2008 Share Posted December 3, 2008 Well my car had rear drums so it had backing plates that are bolted on to all 4 holes so you cant slip it off. I had to destroy the backing plate to get it off. (didnt remove hub) And to put them on I just slid them on since the zraceproduct brackets only have 3 holes. We pulled the hubs off my car like 4-5 years ago and I dont remember my dad and his friend did it. All I know is that there is a tool you can rent from shucks for doing it.
