rwwisnesky
Has anyone researched or installed a Magnuson Magna charger on a Zcar LS1 converson. Not cheap, but a lot of power without tearing apart the engine. Also looks like it adds little to the engine height and would clear the original hood. Blown77Z
I've done a lot of research and drooling for one of these for mine. Why don't you just buy one and let us know
janaka
i've looked into one and read a bunch about one but the car going faster fund is smaller than the cost of a maggie at this point.
rwwisnesky
Well, I guess we can dream for now. Wonder how well the engine and drive components would hold up. In my younger days back in the sixies, I put a McCullough supercharger on my 1955 Plymouth. Didnt take long before the engingine gave out. But engines were very low tech in those days. Savage42
My buddy Dustin (BURRL) is putting one in his 240Z, but will need some hood work, I'm sure. I'd think the one built for the GTO would fit under the hood but doesn't look as cool. This one has the radix intercooler setup, as well! zeeboost
I'm planning on installing an Lq4 with a Magnacharger mp122. The supercharger is sitting in my garage, with the rest of the kit (intercooler, mostly), and I'll be ordering the engine soon...hopefully this month. I'm about to create a new thread about this, but anyways, I guess I'll be the guinea pig. I'm going to start out with a stock 6.0 (I may add a cam) and go from there.
