zzzzed
I have a few questions regarding the l28 n42 block v f54. I have one of each in my collection. First off I will tell you what i have planed, I have a p90 head and turbo manifold so i will be adding boost. I will be aiming for a streetable power figure between 200 and 300rwhp. heres the questions 1. which block would be better suited for my application. 2. will i need forged pistons for these power figures 3. how much power can a stock bottom end handle with boost Thanx Mick.... Mr.INSANE
The N42 is "supposedly" stronger because of casting differences. The F54 has an extra water hole there not really to different
zzzzed
thanx guys. I did find the FAQ thred in the forced induction section just after i wrote this thred which answered every thing i need to know. We don't have many people here in Australia who have experimented with the turbo l28 so its a bit harder to find the information here. it seams the l28et was much more common in the usa
