Mike Rowe
I am going to Tokyo, Kyoto & Nagano in 10 days for 8 days. Can anyone suggest any motoring/parts suppliers I must sees/visit in any of these places? thanks
Globerunner513
Super Autobacs in Yokohama, and any up-garage. Also there are a lot of awesome little speed shops if you ask around. One I visited was called 'speed shop turbo' and they had a MKIV supra and a nice R32 outside, and some good RB motor parts inside. Guy didn't speak a word of english though. jakeoster
I think Signal has a shop around there. Power House Amuse is a cool shop too.
gogriz91
Top Secret in Chiba between Narita and Tokyo. RE Amemiya is really close to Narita if you're a rotary head. There's a retro car sales place right off the expressway about 10NM SW of Narita when you're headed in to Tokyo. I ended up doing a search on Google Earth for RE Amemiya under businesses and got the option to select "A car enthusiasts guide to Japan" which had shops, tracks, UpGarage locations highlighted. You might give that a try.

drunkenmaster
Rocky Auto is in Okazaki in Aichi Prefecture, neighbouring Nagano. They have a bunch of Z's there, half of them with RB swaps. Interesting to have a look but there is not much you can buy there. Autobacs is like your Autobarn type store but better, and upgarage is used parts mainly. Both are chains which are everywhere, and of course focussed more on late model cars.
