Charles Hervey
I bought a Tokico strut and coil over set up for my 75 280Z last year and tried to install it but found out that it required cutting the strut housing which scared the hell out of me if I screwed up. Can anyone tell me the correct way to do this set up and is it recommended? I was reading some the blug on the forum about Tokico suspension problems but it doesn't refer to the coil over package that I bought. Heard about you guys at the Cleveland Z conference this past year. Thanks alot, Charlie.
JMortensen
There is a FAQ for strut sectioning that answers all the questions you might have. The Tokicos fit relatively loosely in the housing, so your precision doesn't have to be quite as high as if you were installing Konis.
