jacob80
Hey boys, We will soon be getting our L28ET back from the machine shop and asked them what they would charge for reassembling the bottom end. They quoted us "a couple hundred bucks" and I thought that was a bit much. Instead, we've actually gone ahead and bought a ring compressor and all the rebuilding tools to do it ourselves. My question for you guys is, what is your procudure? Or, better yet, is there a site that gives a guide on how to rebuild? I know the basics, but this will be the first engine I have ever rebuilt that will be running. If you guys could help me, I would appreciate it, thanks! blue72
Standard procedure is to buy the book "How to Rebuild Your Nissan & Datsun OHC Engine" by Tom Monroe. Read that through once or twice then buy all the parts you need and put 'er together.
jacob80
Ok, that works, I do have that book, are there any additional performance procedures you fine gentlemen would recommend?
