attworth
I'm in the market for a new hood, both front fenders, driver's side headlight bucket, and driver's side door for an 81 ZX. I'm in DFW TX, and have no interest to pay for shipping these big parts. I don't have a whole lot of money right now, so if the price doesn't fit my budget, I cannot do it - but please tell me what you have and what you want for the parts. Please do not try to sell me your dented or rusted out pieces. Mine are rusted/bondoe'd/dented beyond my desire to repair. I also need a dash board for this car. Any color/condition is fine. Here's my "wish" list. I know some of these prices are probably low, but I gotta try. Fenders - 40$ each Hood - 60$ Driver's Headlight Bucket - 15$ Driver's Door - 50$ (with internals, 30$ without) Dash board - 40$

There is a guy in Burleson that has a ton of Z's. I'm sure he can hook you up.
260zShooter
Also try All Z Car Specialist in Ft Worth. Owners name is Jerry DiBennetto. ph 817-483-0383.
ZZZeee
I have everything you're looking for in fiberglass but I don't have a dashboard. The doors are ultra-lightweight... basically empty skins and would need some reinforcement to hold up over time and you'll need side bars. You can add sliding Lexan windows if desired. I also have a nice set of rear flares. The doors and one hood are from a Bob Sharp kit, I think. Perhaps I shouldn't have posted this as I can't sell them as economically as your wish list indicates. attworth
I haven't checked Jerry's place yet, but last time I talked to him, he had junked all of his S130s. The junkyards aren't as nice as he is, so I try not to go there. I will probably check out that guy in Burleson. I've been meaning to call him and see what he's got anyway. ZZZeee, can you send me some pictures of the front fenders you have? what are you prices?
ZZZeee
attworth... Yes, I'll post some links to pics tonight. I'll need to do a little research before I can quote prices but I'll be very reasonable. BTW, shipping large auto parts can be pricey and carrier availability can become problematic. Probably the most economical method is via bus. Is that okay with you?
attworth
I can probably drive down to SA. Or bus. Either way. Can you show me everything you have along with pricing? Thanks!
ZZZeee
attworth... yes, I'll post links to pics of everything tonight along with prices. I'm at work right now though. Depending on how many parts you buy it may be worth the fuel and time to pic them up. Perhaps more importantly... you can see what you're getting before spending any cash beyond fuel cost. BTW, I'm in the N.E. area in Converse just a couple miles east of I-35 so that makes it easier. If you decide to pick parts up I'll meet you on I-35 and you can follow me to my house. attworth
Sounds good. Look forward to seeing the pictures
ZZZeee
Maybe you can make a road trip of it... visit the caves, wildlife refuge, riverwalk, horse races... things like that. A word to the wise: Don't bother with Austin. It's full of politicians... and... stuff.
attworth
Haha! My wife loves SA, so I'm sure she wouldn't mind the trek in the least. It's just a matter of explaining to her that the Z needs to look better or it's not worthy enough to cart her around.
ZZZeee
Pouting works. Practice in the mirror... tears well up... bottom lip quivers... stuff like that.

attworth
Any pictures yet ZZZeee?
ZZZeee
I'll post links in a couple hours. However, somehow I missed that you need ZX parts. I don't know how many of these will fit. I think the only part that was specifically made for a ZX is a turbo hood. At any rate, links coming later tonight.

I'll try again tomorrow. None of these parts are perfect but what ever is? PM for specifics regarding anything you're interested in.
BURLEIGH
Hey attworth, I have everything you need for your ZX, but I'm afraid it will be more than you were hoping. These parts are in great shape with little to no rust and very straight. email me at L28240z@yahoo.com if interested. ZZZeee, I would be interested in the parts you have though if attworth doesn't want them. Please email me. Maybe we can work out some way for everyone to get the parts they need. Let me know guys. Thanks, Richard
