240zJon Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 I am the proud new owner of a 72 240z with a l28 running round top carbs.I need to get air cleaners for it and I don't know what to get. zcarnut Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 Use the 1970-72 air cleaner assy. The “flat top†carb air cleaner housings (both the 1973 and 74) has less height and therefore the air filter has less surface area and will be more restrictive.
