Pdfflyer
I Realize the Z transmission will not hold up like a T56 or a T5, Have any Hybridz Z members coupled a 283 to 305/307 Chevy motor to a stock/ rebuilt Z 5 speed Transmission. 1987 to '89 Trying to keep my costs down and get the conversion done in order to drive it a few miles this year. In the following years, I plan to build the motor and replace the Nissan 5 speed. Any Sources of an adapter, have searched/ written these Archives here to no avail. No replies offered an adapter source which is current. Read where the legendary Scarab Z used a T5 5 speed from a Camaro, Also which 4 speed Automatic transmission is preferred, for power, for economy from which year GM Vehicle? and, which GM Trans fits the trans tunnel the best Regards, PdfFlyer
