jonnyringo Posted February 25, 2009 Share Posted February 25, 2009 Well my project is nearing completion and I'm wanting to try and figure out the few things ill need once it is done. It is going to be a weekend car with heavy drag racing. I've tried searching on here as well as other sites with no definitive answer just guesses as to what could or should fit. Since most z cars find their home on a road course, this was expected. My question is, what size drag slicks can be fit under a stock rear fender without zg flares or the like and on what offest 15in wheel? The suspension specs on it are tokiko illuminas with sectiond strut housings and ground control coilovers. At this point id rather not tub it out. jnjdragracing Posted February 25, 2009 Share Posted February 25, 2009 We use a 28X9 M/T slick on a 15X7 Weld wheel with a 4.5 BS. We did have to trim the wheel opening for the 28" tire but not much.But like Gearheadstik uses a 26X8.5 goes on with out any mods.
