saundc2
So I'm thinking about buying a z32 shell N/A and putting in the TT engine and 5spd transmission. Does everything fit nicely or are there some major issues I need to worry about? Another thing I am concerned about is the diff. Will i need to install the r230 or will I be ok with the R200? Both are viscous lsd right?
Pdfflyer
As long as everything was originally Z32, it should go together. I cannot comment on the LSD. Z32 Turbo engine were a shoehorn fit into the frame. Likely install from underneath rather than from above. The original Z32 Turbo cars did have 4 Wheel Steer, not sure if this was an option on Z32 NA. The driver's side motor mount may have to be re-located for a Turbo, as it did on the earlier Z31 model, in order to accomodate a turbo, only the driver's side engine mount changed. Comrade_Charlie
If your talking about swapping the diff to hold the power you dont need too, im pretty sure its a viscous r200
NCchris
Yes, this swap has been done. Pretty simple swap but a lot of details need attention. Rear steer is not a problem, some of the tt peeps remove it anyway. The na version does not have rear steer. Might want to look around on: http://www.300zxclub.com/ and http://twinturbo.net/net/viewforum.aspx?forum=general
