rags
Hi Guys, I'm trying to find a machine shop in the northeast that can make wheel spacers from a CAD file. Dave (cygnusx1) created the files for me after taking extensive measurements of the hubs and wheels I am using. Thanks Dave! My problem is the current financial situation doesn't seem to be effecting shops in my area as I'm getting quotes of over $700 for 4 spacers! Does anyone have a recommendation for a shop? I don't mind paying but this seems ridiculous. Thanks Joe
cygnusx1
rags, post the pdf files here so some of the machinists on the site can give their rough estimate. I don't have the files here at work. I am not entirely surprised at the price. Machine work has gotten expensive. Gotta pay for those fancy CNC machines. I have one shop in Orangeburg, NY that I trust, but he will be just as expensive. rags
Yeah Dave, I don't have the files here at work either. I'll post them as soon as I get home. Hopefully I can get them made for a reasonable cost. Hell I didn't even spend that much on the wheels! Joe
