80LS1T
I would think that it is 200mm right? I bought a R200 from a guy in texas and I think that he sent me a R180. Well first of all he said it was a 3.54:1 ratio and its really a 3.9:1 ratio!! That really makes me mad!!! I think that the 3.9 might be to low of a gear for the my 93 T56 with the .62:1 6th gear. What do you guys think, is it to low? Thanks
80LS1T
Oh yeah and if this is an R200 (supposedly 82 ZXT) will my half shafts fit in the R200 from my R180 (80' ZX)??? Thanks again! Guy
Guest Anonymous
Guy... here is 180/200 diff comparison photos side by side. scroll till you find it. web page Now go here to the diff section and prepare to educate yourself on R200 web page If it is a 3.90 diff then it is a nonturbo zx from 81 to 83. The 81 to 83 Turbos had 3.54. You will find a number on the ring gear identifying the gear ratio: "39:11 is 3.54 and "37:10 is 3.
johnc
If its an R180 with a 115mm ID ring gear and a 3.90, I would like to buy it.
80LS1T
Yeah I'm a moron! I saw 39:11 and automatically thought 3.90. Then about 2 hours later I did the math and realized it was 3.545. Thanks anyways! Guy
